SINOCOREDRILL introduces the CR-15 Full-Hydraulic Surface Core Drilling Rig, a high-capacity exploration system developed for deep wireline core drilling in demanding field conditions.

Designed for mineral exploration and geological investigation, the CR-15 combines deep drilling capacity, powerful hydraulic performance and crawler-mounted mobility in one integrated platform. It is suitable for metallic and non-metallic mineral exploration, engineering geological surveys, hydrogeological investigations and other surface coring applications.

Deep Drilling Across BQ, NQ, HQ and PQ Sizes

The CR-15 supports the four principal wireline drilling sizes, allowing contractors to select the appropriate hole diameter and target depth for each project:

• BQ: up to 2,050 metres
• NQ: up to 1,650 metres
• HQ: up to 1,350 metres
• PQ: up to 950 metres

This capacity makes the rig suitable for both detailed near-surface investigation and deep mineral exploration programs.

Full-Hydraulic Performance and Precise Control

Powered by a 176 kW diesel engine, the CR-15 uses a two-speed hydraulic rotation motor with a continuously adjustable speed range of up to 1,250 rpm. Its drill head delivers a maximum torque of 6,200 N·m, enabling operators to adapt drilling parameters to different formations and borehole conditions.

The feed system provides up to 25 tonnes of pullback force and supports three- or six-metre rod handling. A 3.7-metre feed stroke helps streamline drilling cycles and reduce unnecessary rod-handling time.

For dependable lifting performance, the rig incorporates a 12-tonne main hoist and a wireline hoist with sufficient cable capacity for deep-hole core retrieval.

Built for Safety and Field Efficiency

The CR-15 is equipped with a hydraulic chuck offering 243 kN of holding capacity. Its hydraulically powered rod clamp accommodates drill rods and casing from BQ through HWT sizes.

A spring-closed, hydraulically opened foot clamp provides fail-safe clamping performance. The integrated control panel gives the operator centralized access to the main drilling functions, helping improve operational control and job-site efficiency.

With an adjustable mast for vertical and inclined boreholes, the CR-15 can be configured for a wide range of exploration requirements. Its steel crawler chassis provides mobility and stability on uneven ground, making the rig suitable for remote mineral exploration sites and challenging terrain.
